Qualifications & Skills
Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care (essential).
Work experience is advantageous but not necessary.
Knowledge of Autism, Intellectual Disability, Epilepsy, and Down Syndrome.
Full, clean driving license.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver person-centered care tailored to individual needs, wishes, and requirements.
Assist with personal care and manual handling, ensuring safety, comfort, and hygiene.
Support medication administration following policies and procedures.
Participate in educational, recreational, and occupational activities to promote community integration.
Foster teamwork and create a nurturing environment for service users.
Additional Requirements
Flexibility regarding working hours and days.
Understanding of laws, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding and record keeping.
