Social Care Worker

Join our team to provide dedicated support to adults with varying disabilities and complex health needs, including Intellectual Disability and Epilepsy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care (essential).
• Work experience is advantageous but not necessary.
• Knowledge of Autism, Intellectual Disability, Epilepsy, and Down Syndrome.
• Full, clean driving license.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered care tailored to individual needs, wishes, and requirements.
• Assist with personal care and manual handling, ensuring safety, comfort, and hygiene.
• Support medication administration following policies and procedures.
• Participate in educational, recreational, and occupational activities to promote community integration.
• Foster teamwork and create a nurturing environment for service users.

• Flexibility regarding working hours and days.
• Understanding of laws, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding and record keeping.
