Care Worker Role at Willow Court

Care Workers make a significant difference in the lives of our service users by providing a highly personal service that supports their independence at home. You will help enable people to live as independently as possible by maintaining high standards of care and support.

Willow Court is based in one location and houses 60 independent flats, so a driving license is not required for this role.

Hours of work are from 7am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm. We are ideally looking for 2 people who can work 25 hours a week, with the possibility of additional hours for the right candidate.

Shifts are allocated on a two-week rolling rota, allowing you to plan ahead.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with all elements of personal care to support service users in being as independent as possible, including washing, dressing, and medication support.
• Assist service users with meal preparation and shopping trips to the local supermarket.
• Perform light household chores around the flats.
• Provide companionship and help build confidence and independence among service users.

Role Criteria:

• Successful candidates must be willing to work alternate weekends.
• No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.
• Skills in practical subjects such as cooking and household responsibilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety, moving and handling.
• Experience in personal care, medication support, and dementia assistance.
