Care Worker

Hourly rate: £12.60

Location: Willow Court – Whittlesey

Recent increase in hourly rate to £12.60, plus excellent company benefits.

Due to increased hours at our Willow Court Branch and a current Care Worker going on maternity leave, we are seeking 2 new team members.

Our work includes integrating housing and care contracts, delivering front-line services, and creating new specialist accommodations such as Supported Living and Extra Care housing. We currently provide care and support services to 21 extra care schemes nationwide, with over 10 years of experience in these settings.

About the Role:

Care Workers make a significant difference in the lives of our service users by providing personalized care that enables independence at home. You will deliver high standards of care and support.

Willow Court houses 60 independent flats in one location. A driving license is not required for this role.

Hours are from 7 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm. We are ideally looking for two people to work 25 hours a week, with additional hours possible for the right candidate.

Shifts are allocated on a two-week rolling rota, allowing you to plan ahead.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, supporting service users to remain as independent as possible, including washing, dressing, and medication support.
  • Help with meal preparation and shopping trips.
  • Perform light household chores.
  • Offer companionship and support to build confidence and independence.

All roles require entitlement to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Role Criteria:

  • Willingness to work alternate weekends.
  • No previous experience required; full training provided.
  • Basic skills in cooking and household responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety, moving and handling, personal care, medication, and dementia support.
