Overview

Verity Healthcare Limited is a domiciliary care company providing care in clients' own homes. We operate with trained care workers who attend to the needs of service users and work with local authorities, the NHS, CCGs, private hospitals, and private clients. We are seeking passionate and caring healthcare assistants to join our team of domiciliary carers. Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities, from door to door.
  • Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist clients in getting up in the morning and going to bed at night.
  • Support clients with their medication at the agreed level of support and as detailed in the Medication Care Needs Assessment.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records concerning care, medication support, and tasks undertaken.
  • Prepare food and drink for clients, considering preferences, nutritional needs, and cultural requirements.
  • Provide light general household duties, including housework and laundry, as detailed in the care plan or as instructed by management.
  • Observe health and safety rules and promote safe practices, raising concerns with the Field Care Supervisor as needed.
  • Carry out any other duties requested by senior management within the scope of the post.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in domiciliary care or a strong willingness to provide high-quality home care.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable clients.
  • Background checks are conducted as part of safer recruitment; DBS checks and verification of qualifications may be required.
  • Ability to work with diverse service users and accommodate individual needs and preferences.
