Care UK seeks a dedicated Care Unit Manager to lead a residential unit with a person-centered approach. You will supervise a team, manage admissions, and ensure safe, dignified care for residents, while coordinating with senior leaders to develop services. Experience in health and social care is essential.

You will oversee assessments, medication administration, and daily operations, fostering a supportive environment and ensuring high-quality standards for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care
• Ability to enhance effective working relationships, building trust amongst staff and residents
• Be well-organised and IT literate
• Natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a care unit with a passion for delivering excellent care
• Delegate workload in a collaborative, supportive and informative way
• Ensure residents medical, physical and emotional needs are met while championing safety and dignity
• Oversee admissions of new residents
• Carry out risk assessments and develop personalised care plans
• Work with leadership to develop services
• Administer medication
• Provide a fun, inclusive and professional approach at all times
