Job summary

Care UK in Harrogate is seeking a dedicated Care Unit Manager to lead a care home team and deliver outstanding resident care. You will oversee admissions, supervise staff, administer medication, and ensure safety, dignity and wellbeing for every resident.

You will work with the leadership team to develop services, complete risk assessments, and provide a supportive, inclusive environment. NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is preferred; IT literacy and strong relationship-building are

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is required.
• Ability to enhance effective working relationships, building trust amongst staff and residents.
• Be well-organised and IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a care unit with a focus on delivering excellent care.
• Delegate workload in a collaborative, supportive and informative way.
• Ensure residents' medical, physical and emotional needs are met with safety and dignity.

• Carry out risk assessments and develop personalised care plans.
• Work with leadership to develop services.
