Job summary

Brook Street in Lincoln is recruiting an Assistant Support Team Leader to join a specialist supported living service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs.

Working alongside the Support Team Leader, you will help lead a dedicated team, deliver outstanding person-centred support and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, with a 40-hour rota and a monthly sleep-in allowance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care required.
• Experience as a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader or similar.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the service.
• Lead and motivate Support Workers.
• deputise for the Support Team Leader.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity.
• Support care planning and quality standards.
• Mentor new staff and model best practice.
• Maintain safeguarding and CQC compliance.
