Purple Oak Support is looking for an enthusiastic Team Manager, on a part-time basis (30hrs per week, £22,149.84 per annum), to lead a passionate team, providing exceptional care and support to adults with learning disabilities. What you’ll be doing:

• Leading by Example: Be the guiding force for our awesome Support Workers, helping them reach their full potential.
• Teamwork: Hold monthly team meetings and 1:1 supervisions to keep everyone connected, motivated, and on track.
• Recruitment Rockstar: Assist in bringing new team members onboard, from interviews to induction.
• Care Plans & Records: Ensure that care plans, risk assessments, and records are top-notch and up-to-date.
• Smooth Operations: Work with the Support Coordinator to manage the team rota and ensure everything runs like clockwork.
• Compliance Champion: Ensure we’re always working in line with our policies, safety standards, and all things legal to keep our service user’s experience as smooth as possible.

What we’re looking for:

• A natural leader who can inspire, motivate, and support a team.
• Experience of working in a care setting (bonus points if you’ve been in a supervisory or management position before!).
• Strong communication and organisational skills—because things don’t always go according to plan, and you’ll be ready to step in when needed.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for person-centred care.
• Knowledge of care systems, CQC standards, and statutory requirements.
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the service and the team.

What started out as a concerned group of parents whose children has a learning disability, has now turned into a charity which provides supported living services, domiciliary care, community support and children’s respite.
