Job summary

Crystal Care Collection are actively recruiting for a Care Team Leader (Deputy Manager) at Tudor House, Thornbury, Bristol. You will lead care teams, coach and mentor staff to ensure residents are well cared for and engaged in a fulfilled life.

The role includes acting as in-charge outside hours, managing medications, care plans, and staff appraisals. Night shifts 20:00-08:00 with £16.92 per hour, permanent rolling rota and various benefits offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge of the home outside of office hours or in the absence of the General Manager and/or the Care Manager, ensuring legislation and standards are maintained.
• Provide the highest level of personal care following individual care plans and act as a key worker for a named group of residents.
• Understand and comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, and the Health & Social Care Act to keep the home safe and infection control aware.
• Undertake Move-In assessments and discuss findings with the General Manager or Care Manager before placement.
• Contribute to formulation of individual care plans for residents.
• Order and administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
• Respect confidentiality of residents' information at all times.
• Carry out general care assistant duties as required.
• Complete quality audits as delegated by the General or Care Manager.
• Complete staff supervisions and appraisals as delegated by the General Manager or Care Manager.
• Be on call for the home on a rota basis in case of emergencies.
