Job Description:

We’re Hiring! Care Team Leader (Nights) at Kingfisher Court
3 on, 3 off shift pattern | 8pm–8am | Averaging 42 hours/week

Welcome to Kingfisher Court – where quality care meets comfort and belonging.
Kingfisher Court is a beautiful, purpose‑built residential care home located in the heart of Sutton‑in‑Ashfield. We provide first‑class residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents, with luxurious facilities, landscaped gardens, and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Here, every team member plays a vital role in making a real difference every night.

About the role
As a Care Team Leader (Nights), you’ll be the heart of the team — supporting and guiding your colleagues to deliver safe, compassionate, person‑centred care. You’ll work closely with the Deputy Manager to ensure every resident is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect throughout the night.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the night team, making sure staff are allocated effectively
  • Managing all aspects of safe medication handling
  • Conducting care assessments and keeping care plans accurate and up‑to‑date
  • Guiding and mentoring colleagues through coaching, training, and regular supervisions
  • Monitoring compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
  • Responding promptly to residents’ changing needs and working closely with external healthcare professionals
  • Helping create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment where residents can rest, relax, and feel valued

What we’re looking for:

  • An experienced, confident Care Leader, ideally with a Level 3 Care Diploma (or working towards one)
  • Strong knowledge of care planning, medication management, and staff supervision — especially in an elderly or dementia care setting
  • A compassionate, approachable team player who’s passionate about making a difference
  • Skilled in using digital care planning and recording systems

Why join Anchor and Kingfisher Court?

  • A rewarding role making a genuine difference every shift
  • Career progression opportunities — from care roles to leadership and beyond
  • Funded qualifications and ongoing in‑house training support
  • Competitive pay, above industry standards
  • Discounts on fitness, well‑being, retail, tech, holidays, and more
  • Free online GP appointments and access to the Blue Light Card
  • Financial well‑being tools, life assurance, and flexible salary access
  • A supportive, inclusive team that values your voice and expertise

If you’re passionate about providing high‑quality, person‑centred care and looking for the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and join Kingfisher Court — a place where every shift makes a difference.

Please note: All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
