Abbeyfield Living Society in Honiton is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader for night shifts at Hill House. You will lead on shift, monitor residents’ health and care needs, and oversee personal care plans including medication administration.

The role requires an experienced Carer, ideally with Level 3 Health and Social Care or working towards it, with strong organisational and staff-management skills. The position is on-site in Honiton and offers comprehensive benefits.

Role: Care Team Leader - Nights
Location: Honiton, Hill House,EX14 4UQ
Pay: £14.77 p/h - £15.24 p/h
Hours: 36.75 hours a week
Shifts: 19.15 pm to 07.30am

The Role of Care Team Leader - Nights

• Our Care Team Leaders (Senior Care Assistant) sit at the heart of what we do. As the recognised Senior Carer on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility for regular monitoring of the health, care and social needs of our residents.
• Preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plans, including the administering of medication.
• You'll supervise, support coachand developother team members, and liaisewith people involved in resident'scare, as well as with the residents themselves.Put simply, you'll ensureresidents'needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide.
• As the Senior Carer on that shift, you willtake the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.

About You

• You must be an experiencedCarer, ideally with a Level 3 qualificationin Health and Social Careor equivalent,or be committed to working towards this.
• As a Care Team Leader, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills. You'll already be skilled inwritingand updating Care Plans, and competent in the administration of Medication.
• Most of all, you'll be passionate and committed to providingexceptional care to our residents, their families and friends.
