Job summary

Buckland Care Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Team Leader to advance from Senior Care Assistant, taking on mentoring duties and hands-on care alongside added responsibilities such as medication administration, rota management and care plan support.

You will work with the Head of Care/Deputy Manager/Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, while also supervising and deploying carers on the floor.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent is required.
• Excellent level of English is required.
• Warm & friendly personality and good communication skills.
• Able to use initiative and lead a team.
• Medication trained.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support carers on the floor.
• Collaborate with Head of Care/Deputy Manager/Manager to ensure high-quality care.
• Be hands-on with residents while taking on extra responsibilities (medication, rota, care plans).
• Manage carers and seniors on the floor and deploy them appropriately.
