Job summary

Berkley Care Group is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to drive high standards of person-centred care, lead a supportive home team and ensure smooth daily operations on shift. You will champion resident wellbeing, mentor staff and maintain accurate care records while upholding safeguarding and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes compassionate leadership, effective communication with residents, families and team members, and active participation in continuous improvement within a luxury

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant health and social care qualification.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a senior care assistant role.
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate within a supportive team.
• Kind, caring and compassionate with good communication across residents, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily care delivery with high standards of person‑centred care.
• Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns with accurate records.
• Provide positive leadership, coaching and support to care staff.
• Manage staffing levels and ensure smooth daily operations on shift.
• Support supervision, induction, training and Care Certificate progress.
• Support safe medication administration and report concerns promptly.
• Ensure safeguarding, COSHH and health & safety compliance.
