Qualifications

• Completed or working towards NVQ3 in care.
• Motivated and positive with strong interpersonal skills.
• Pivotal in running a care unit and aiding clinical duties.
• Experience in the role and understanding its rewards and challenges.
• Passion for making a real difference to residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Run a care unit on a day-to-day basis.
• Support clinical duties, observe, administer medication, review care plans and maintain records.
• Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants and handovers.
• Train and supervise new staff to ensure welcome and support.
• Build relationships with residents, families, GPs and District Nurses.
• Assist residents with personal care tasks.
