Lifeways is seeking a Care Team Leader to collaborate with our Service Manager in leading and managing our Supported Living Service in Accrington, East Lancashire. Applicants with experience as Care Team Leaders or Senior Support Workers holding an NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) are preferred. However, dedicated Care Assistants or Carers with a strong track record and ambition to progress will also be considered. We provide excellent training and ongoing development opportunities.
As a Team Leader, you will lead and motivate support workers to ensure the delivery of excellent, person-centred care, enabling individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Your responsibilities will include recruiting support staff, conducting staff supervisions, interviewing candidates, and providing guidance and support. You should have excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, individuals supported, and external professionals. Good written communication and IT skills are essential for record keeping.
Our Supported Living services in East Lancashire support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or mental health conditions, helping to make a positive difference in their lives.
