Salary: £13.15 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About The Role

Glenholme is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our specialist-supported living service. This role is ideal for a compassionate and motivated individual looking to take the next step in their career by leading a team and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with learning disabilities.

As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership, support, and guidance to a team of Support Workers, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support a team of Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate service quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on support, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and CQC standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector, ideally working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and CQC standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Vincent Place is a specialist-supported living service located in the heart of Old Town Stevenage. It has been designed to enable people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex needs to live happy, healthy, and independent lives.

The service offers modern, spacious one- and two-bedroomed flats, with 24/7 support available. Residents can also access a communal flat to socialise or seek additional support when needed.

Situated just metres away from the high street and a 15-minute walk from Stevenage Town Square, Vincent Place offers excellent access to local shops, cafes, restaurants, and community activities, promoting positive links with the wider community.
