Job summary

Care Concern Group in Nottingham seeks a Care Team Leader for Chetwynd House Care Home to lead shifts, supervise staff and ensure high quality, person-centred care for residents.

You will work with the nursing and management teams to maintain standards, ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate care delivery, including care planning, medication administration and documentation. Alternate weekends required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Medication administration training with competency.

Job description

Chetwynd House Care Home is a modern residential, dementia, respite and day care home in Chilwell, Nottingham. Featuring five beautifully designed care suites, exceptional facilities and lifestyle kitchens, we are passionate about delivering personalised care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Team Leader Contract

• £17.00 per hour
• Contracted to 30-38 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day to day leadership and delivery of care within the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high quality and person centred support at all times. Working alongside the nursing and management team, you will help maintain standards, support compliance and ensure best practice is consistently followed.

You will lead shifts, supervise and support care staff, and take responsibility for the coordination of care delivery. This includes overseeing care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management, ensuring all practices align with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

You will act as a role model within the team, promoting positive working practices, supporting staff development and ensuring a culture of respect, dignity and accountability. You will also contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement, helping to maintain a well run and high performing service.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
