Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour
Shifts: Day shifts, 3-week rolling rota (one weekend in three)

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Care Delivery: Support residents with learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
  • Shift Management: Lead day shifts, ensuring the team follows care plans and health & safety regulations.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and mentorship to staff to ensure ongoing development.
  • Compliance: Ensure all records are maintained and comply with policies, safeguarding, and infection control standards.
  • Support for Management: Assist the Care Manager with daily operations and quality assurance.


Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or social care, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 4 in Leadership preferred).
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
  • Flexibility: Able to work day shifts on a rolling rota, including one weekend in three.
