What you will be doing (Responsibilities)
  • Look after the day-to-day needs of residents, showing compassion, care and commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Work with a team of like-minded individuals to ensure residents are comfortable in their home.
  • Support Care Assistants in their development.
  • Lead the team to enrich residents’ lives and collaborate with families and colleagues with kindness and support.
  • Promote high quality, personalised care in line with individual care plans.
  • Facilitate leisure and social activities as part of daily routine.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
  • Teamwork – a happy team contributes to happy residents and a happy home.
  • Experience in care is essential; an SVQ3 in Social Care is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible approach.
  • Kind nature with a genuine regard for older people and their needs, treating everyone with respect and dignity.
