The Role

• Lead and supervise your shift
• Manage residents' cases and liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create and deliver the best care plans
• Administer and record medication
• Carry out risk assessments
• Support residents with daily needs alongside care assistants, promoting activity and independence
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop services

About You

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable)
• Well-organized, IT literate, and capable of delegating work appropriately
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Good understanding of care planning processes
• Experience or willingness to train in medication administration
• A natural ability to improve residents' quality of life

Our modern, purpose-built care home on Wakefield Avenue, Portobello, Edinburgh, opened on 11th December 2017. It reflects the spirit, fun, and warmth of this vibrant community. Located three miles east of Edinburgh city centre, Portobello is known for its strong community ethos and friendly atmosphere.
