Care Team Leader at Meadow View Residential Care Home, Blackthorn Road, Hersden, Canterbury, Kent, CT3 4GB

Salary: £15.20 per hour • Hours: 39 hours per week available on Night duty (8pm start, 12hr shifts); alternate weekend working.

Responsibilities
  • Look after the day-to-day needs of residents with compassion, care and commitment to positively impact their lives.
  • Lead, coach and motivate a team to deliver high-quality care; support Care Assistants in their development.
  • Work with a team to ensure residents are comfortable in their home and follow individual care plans.
  • Participate in leisure and social activities with residents.
  • Ensure high standards of personalised care in line with individual care plans.
Requirements
  • Experience in care is essential; NVQ3 in Social Care is desirable.
  • Experience leading, coaching and motivating a team; strong communication and a flexible approach.
  • Kindness and a genuine interest in older people and their needs; respectful, dignified treatment of all residents.

About the Role

As a Care Team Leader you will supervise daily operations, lead a team of Care Assistants, and ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care. You will support the development of team members and ensure all care is delivered according to care plans. You will be passionate about caring for older people and have prior health and social care experience.
