Community Care Team Leader – Evenings

Bournemouth Area

Partnering with a Reputable Home Care Provider

Care First is partnering with a respected home care provider who is now seeking a Community Care Team Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a predominantly evening-based role, offering the chance to lead and support a committed group of Community Care Assistants while playing a key part in delivering high-quality care across the local community.

About the Role :

As the Community Care Team Leader, you will :

Lead, guide and advise a team of Community Care Assistants

Play an essential role in the assessment team

Support smooth transitions when welcoming new service users

Carry out some hands‑on care responsibilities and community assessments

Maintain high standards in line with CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures

Participate in the on‑call rota (1 in 4 weekends)

Hours :

Monday to Friday – Evenings only

4pm–10pm (Potential to start earlier, e.g., 2pm or 3pm, depending on desired hours)

Contracts available at 18, 24, or up to 34 hours per week

Pay Rates :

Weekday hourly rate : £13.10

Weekend hourly rate : £13.30

On‑call payment : £90 (Friday approx. 3pm – Monday 9am)

If required to cover calls, normal hourly rate will also apply

Rates due to increase from April 2026

Requirements :

Previous domiciliary care experience is essential

Proven experience in a similar senior or team leader role

Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding

Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills

Passionate about delivering safe, person‑centred care
