Job summary

Care UK is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to guide shifts, oversee care plans, and coordinate with families and health professionals. You will administer and document medications, perform risk assessments, and support residents to stay active and independent.

Collaborative work with the leadership team will help shape services and outcomes. Ideal candidates will have strong organisation, IT literacy, and a track record of supervising others, with a passion for improving residents' lives

Qualifications

• Be well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
• Good understanding of care planning processes.
• Experience in or willing to undertake training on administering medication.
• Natural ability to help make residents' lives more fulfilling.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising your shift.
• Case managing residents and liaising with families and healthcare professionals.
• Administering and recording medication.
• Carrying out risk assessments.
• Supporting residents with daily needs and promoting independence.
• Working with leadership to develop services.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable)
