Care Support Workers Needed in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Manchester

Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant
The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with daily routines, including personal care and feeding.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in care and demonstrate compassion.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will assist with daily care activities.
They are vital members of teams in hospitals, homes, and clinics.

As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of nursing staff, alongside other Healthcare Assistants.
Your duties may include:

  • Helping patients with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Assisting with feeding and serving food
  • Making and changing beds
  • Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
  • Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
  • Helping patients move around
  • Assisting with toileting and collecting bedpans
  • Maintaining tidiness of wards or homes
  • Managing supplies and equipment

Your daily tasks may involve using mobility aids, helping lift and move patients, and escorting patients within hospitals. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.

We also supply staff to NHS and private sectors, including roles such as Nurse, General Nurse, RGN, NMC, Band 5 & 6, HCA, Community Nurse, and Specialist Nurse in areas like A&E, Endoscopy, and Theatre.
