Lifeways Group is seeking caring, reliable people to join our Care Support Worker team in Taunton. You'll provide support in people’s homes and communities, helping them maintain independence and participate in everyday activities.
A full UK driving licence is essential, and you don’t need prior care experience – your attitude and willingness matter most. The role includes shifts with sleep-ins, driving between appointments, and opportunities for training, progression, and DBS clearance.
Care Support Worker role available
Support Worker (Driver Essential) | £13.10 per hour + £50 sleep ins
Shift pattern:
Sleep in shift – 9am-10pm (sleep in from 10pm) - 7am-9am
Monday to Thursday - 7.30am-10am - 3.45pm-9pm
Friday to Sunday - 7.30am-9.30pm
07.00-21.00
Waking nights 21.00-07.00

A full driving licence is essential for this role, but not because you'll spend your day driving from appointment to appointment. Driving gives the people we support opportunities.

Sometimes the smallest things can have the biggest impact. Whether that's somebody ordering a coffee independently for the first time, catching up with friends, or building the confidence to try something new, you'll play a part in making those moments happen.
