Job summary

Impacting Lives Limited in Birmingham is seeking a Care Support Worker for sleep-in and waking night shifts to help vulnerable adults lead safe, independent lives. You will assist with personal care, meals, medication, and daily activities, while maintaining dignity and choice.

The role offers a minimum 24-hour guaranteed contract, paid shadow shifts, full induction and ongoing training, and opportunities for progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and patient.
• Experience in care or supporting adults preferred.
• Willingness to work sleep-in and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care where required.
• Support medication administration and monitoring as needed.
• Promote independence and daily living skills.
• Assist with meals, nutrition and hydration.
• Support appointments, shopping and community activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Provide emotional support, reassurance and companionship.
• Keep accurate records and report concerns promptly.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care where required
• Supporting medication administration and monitoring
• Promoting independence and daily living skills

• Providing emotional support, reassurance, and companionship
