Job Title: Care Support Worker

Job Type(s): Full and part-time positions available

Salary: £12.40 per hour + paid travel time and mileage

About Candlelight Care

Candlelight Care is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated, family-run team. We support vulnerable adults in their homes within Ringmer and surrounding areas. We offer both full and part-time roles, with shifts typically from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 10pm, including alternate weekends. Driving may not be essential depending on location.

Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker

• Build relationships with clients, understanding their interests and needs
• Provide emotional and practical support
• Assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing)
• Support domestic tasks and food preparation
• Assist with medication, mobility aids, and personal equipment
• Report significant changes in client health or circumstances to the Registered Manager
