Job summary

SeeAbility in Wellington, Somerset, seeks a Support Worker to help people live more independently. You’ll assist with daily routines, plan engaging activities, and develop personalized support plans. The role focuses on building caring relationships and enhancing wellbeing in a residential setting.

With 37.5 hours per week in a permanent role, you’ll join a supportive team. A manual UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.
• Previous experience in a care or support setting.
• Valid manual UK driving licence.
• The legal right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide structure and support to daily routines, morning to night.
• Create person-centred moments and plan activities to boost wellbeing.
• Develop tailored support plans reflecting goals and preferences.
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships and encourage growth.
• Keep accurate, reflective records to support care quality.
