NYC in North Yorkshire is seeking a Care and Support Worker for Kirkwood Hall, Leyburn, on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. The role involves delivering care, supporting residents to stay independent, and following care plans under supervision.

The position requires flexibility across a 7-day rota, including weekends, with base at Kirkwood Hall. Salary ranges £13.92–£14.59 per hour with a £30 weekend shift premium.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification preferred or obtainable via apprenticeship route.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure required for appointment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver care and support plans while encouraging independence and control of wellbeing.
• Work as part of a small team under guidance from senior colleagues.
• Work on a rota basis including days, nights and weekends as required.
