Job summary

C Beacon House in West Yorkshire is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to deliver outstanding care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will work full-time on a 42-hour week with 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends, on a two-week rolling rota.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Supporting service users to access the community, to attend things like work, college, hobbies and activities, days out and holidays.
• Supporting the service users to grow, develop and learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
