Job Description

Provide care and support to service users within a very sheltered housing facility.

This role requires flexible working hours, including day, night, and weekend shifts.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.

Public transport options can vary at weekends, so own transport is preferable.

Please note, the position advertised does not meet the salary threshold required for sponsorship.

Fixed term for a period not exceeding 30/09/2025.

Requirements

This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an overseas criminal record check will be required. The outcome of these checks must be satisfactory before employment begins.

This post requires obtaining SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.

A minimum of two references is required, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.
