Job summary

McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a Care Assistant at Twelve Acres Place in Chichester. You will support residents with daily care, housekeeping and activities, while promoting wellbeing. A warm, team-focused approach and a passion for older people’s welfare are key.

The role offers an hourly rate of £14.12 with potential extra for evenings/weekends, 25 hours per week, and a benefits package including pension and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support environment preferred.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and domestic support to residents.
• Assist with housekeeping and apartment cleans.
• Help residents book appointments and arrange transport.
• Escort residents on visits and accompany shopping trips.
• Encourage participation in activities to support wellbeing.
