Job summary

Care South in Wickmeads, Bournemouth is seeking a Care & Support Assistant. This role supports residents with personal care and mobility, builds friendships, and promotes independence. A caring, empathetic approach and willingness to participate in a comprehensive induction are essential.

Hours include full-time and part-time with a shift from 8:00am to 20:00pm, including alternate weekends. Prior care experience isn’t required, but a kind, understanding nature is valued in a compassionate care

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; we welcome those from customer service or community roles.
• Induction and training provided for all new starters.
• You must be 18 years or older and able to work the listed shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and mobility needs.
• Provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents.
• Build genuine friendships with residents and support staying independent and active.
• Deliver care in accordance with HEART values and home policies.
