Job summary

Care South is looking for a caring and compassionate Care & Support Assistant at Buxton House Residential Home in Weymouth. You will join a dedicated team delivering person-centred care, supporting residents with daily needs and encouraging social activity.

Full-time, part-time and bank hours are available, with shifts 08:00–20:00 and some alternate weekends. Induction and ongoing training ensure you’re supported every step of the way.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; suitable for those with customer service or community roles.
• Demonstrates kindness, empathy and commitment to helping residents feel safe and valued.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive induction and training programme.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support to residents at Buxton House.
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs; support residents to stay independent.
• Build genuine relationships with residents and participate in activities and companionship.
