The Care and Support Assistant will deliver care and support services which promote the welfare and wellbeing of residents and safeguard them from harm, and to promote residents’ participation in the life of the Scheme.

Hours/Shift Pattern: 12 hours per week, with flexibility offered in the number of shifts allocated. Please note that there will be a necessity to work ‘twilight shifts’ which cover both day & night hours, e.g. 7pm-11pm or 6pm-12am.

Salary: £12.61 per hour (Days) – £12.93 per hour (Nights)

To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:

1. Ability to read, write and communicate in English, as evidenced by a relevant qualification, or experience of demonstrating literacy in English in an education or work environment.

2. Basic numeracy skills, as evidenced by relevant qualification or use of numeracy in a education or work environment.

3. Experience of working as part of a team

4. Willingness to undertake training for the role

5. Willingness to register with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) as a requirement of the role
