TeacherActive is working with a primary school in Presteigne that values inclusion and aims to create a safe, engaging learning environment where all pupils and staff are well cared for.

We are looking for a Residential Support Worker / RSW comfortable working with young pupils with ALN. This is a temporary, long-term role with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. The role involves working 1-on-1 with pupils, demonstrating empathy, and adapting quickly to their needs.

The salary ranges from £100 to £170 per day.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine desire to inspire pupils and motivate colleagues
  • Ability to assist with classroom preparation and management
  • Strong listening skills to understand individual pupil needs
  • Resilience and ability to differentiate instruction
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
