Job summary

Caremark Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire is offering a Care Support Apprenticeship in Cambridge. You will visit clients in their own homes to provide personal care, companionship and light domestic tasks under supervision.

The 13‑month programme pays £8.00 per hour with an automatic pay increase after one year for 19+ year olds. Hours are 30 per week, working Mon–Sun (7am–10pm). Location: Unit 7, Grange Park, Broadway, Bourn, CB23 2TA.

Qualifications

• Desirable GCSE English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, companionship, and light domestic tasks in clients' homes.
• Assist with mobility and changing beds, meals, and daily routines.
• Support clients with health needs and report changes to supervisors.
• Encourage independence and activities to promote well-being.
• Adhere to Caremark policies and maintain accurate records.
