Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited in Weybridge is seeking a Care Supervisor to lead a small team of care assistants in a luxury care and nursing home. You will supervise, develop staff, and ensure high standards of resident care.

The role is full-time day shifts with a strong emphasis on leadership, safety, and quality of life for residents. You will monitor care plans, support staff with reviews, and handle occasional care duties while remaining calm and decisive in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in care and supervision is advantageous.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care is desirable.
• Recognition in medication administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and develop a team of care assistants through supervision and reviews.
• Organise the team and lead by example.
• Monitor and review residents' care plans and ensure adherence.
• Record residents’ daily progress and perform care duties as required.
• Lead calmly in emergencies.

Your role at Signature

Use your experience and leadership qualities to inspire and develop our team of care assistants, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Supervisor at our luxury care and nursing home in Weybridge.

What you will do

As a Care Supervisor, you’ll be supporting and guiding a small team of care assistants, organising the team and leading by example. You’ll help them develop through regular supervisions, one to ones and annual performance reviews.

You’ll also be responsible for monitoring and reviewing residents care plans, ensuring they are adhered to by all team members. You’ll ensure residents’ daily progress is recorded and reported accurately. You’ll also be performing care assistant duties with residents as required.

You will keep a cool head and take the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.
