At London Paramount Care, we support older people, as well as adults and children with learning difficulties, autism and complex needs, to live with comfort, dignity and purpose. Our homes are calm, safe and welcoming, with teams who care about doing things the right way. This opportunity is based in our elderly people’s home, where you’ll take on the role of Care Supervisor.

About The Role

As a Care Supervisor, you will take an active leadership role in the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to residents. You will lead and support the care team, manage daily operations, and provide hands-on care to residents when needed. This is a role for someone who wants to make a real difference while guiding a team and helping create a safe, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising care staff through mentoring, observations, and regular feedback.
  • Providing hands-on care to residents when needed, including personal care, mobility support, and mealtimes.
  • Supporting staff development and identifying training needs.
  • Maintaining effective communication with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
  • Monitoring the safety, cleanliness, and overall environment of the home.
  • Organising staff cover for sickness, annual leave, and other absences.
  • Contributing to care planning, reviews, and record-keeping.
  • Participating in the on-call rota, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a care setting.
  • Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shift patterns.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting residents’ wellbeing.
  • Experience in a supervisory or senior care role.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
  • Knowledge of CQC requirements and care standards.
