Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a proactive Care Supervisor for our Reigate Grange home. You will lead a small team of care assistants, organise daily duties, and drive superb resident care with continuous supervision and performance reviews.

The role involves monitoring care plans, ensuring accurate daily reporting, and stepping in to perform care tasks when needed. Experience in health and social care and a recognised medication administration qualification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
• A recognised medication administration qualification is highly advantageous.
• Experience in care settings with people living in residential environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small team of care assistants.
• Organise the team and drive performance through regular supervisions and reviews.
• Monitor and review residents' care plans and ensure daily progress is recorded.
• Perform care assistant duties as required and respond calmly in emergencies.

Your Role at Signature

Signature at Reigate Grange are holding weekly drop in sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 4pm. You can pop in at any time and meet our friendly team, there will be opportunities to have a look around our beautifulhome and speak to our teams about opportunities we have available. If you bring your updated CV you may be able to have an interview on the day!

As a Care Supervisor, you'll be supporting and guiding a small team of care assistants, organising the team and leading by example. You'll help them develop through regular supervisions, one to ones and annual performance reviews.

You'll also be responsible for monitoring and reviewing residents care plans, ensuring they are adhered to by all team members. You'll ensure residents' daily progress is recorded and reported accurately. You'll also be performing care assistant duties with residents as required.

You will keep a cool head and take the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.
