Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Care Supervisor for our luxury care and nursing home in Caversham. You will lead a small team of care assistants, supervise performance, and ensure care plans are followed with accuracy.

You will monitor daily progress, support staff, and step in to perform care duties or manage emergencies with a calm, capable approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in care with leadership responsibilities.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Recognition in medication administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a small team of care assistants.
• Conduct regular supervisions, one-to-ones and annual reviews.
• Monitor and review residents' care plans and ensure adherence.
• Record residents' daily progress accurately and act in emergencies.
• Perform care assistant duties when required.

Job Introduction

Use your experience and leadership qualities to inspire and develop our team of care assistants, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Supervisor at our luxury care and nursing home in Caversham.

Your Role at Signature

As a Care Supervisor, you’ll be supporting and guiding a small team of care assistants, organising the team and leading by example. You’ll help them develop through regular supervisions, one to ones and annual performance reviews.

You’ll also be responsible for monitoring and reviewing residents care plans, ensuring they are adhered to by all team members. You’ll ensure residents’ daily progress is recorded and reported accurately. You’ll also be performing care assistant duties with residents as required.

You will keep a cool head and take the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.
