McCarthy Stone are looking for experienced Care Supervisors to be part of the team at our Lowe House development in Knebworth, Hertfordshire.

You must have previous experience working in the UK in a Senior Care position and hold an L3 in Health and Social Care to be considered for this role. Please note, McCarthy Stone does not offer sponsorship; only UK-based applications will be considered.

This is not traditional care, this is better!

Base Salary: £14.47 per hour day rate and £11.82 SLEEPING night rate per hour, plus an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.

Hours: 33.5 hours per week, with a mixture of day and evening shifts, weekdays and weekends available.

Day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00.

Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00 and 07:00, providing emergency support only to homeowners during that period.

  • You are warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with experience in care or support environments and excellent care skills.
  • You are located within an easily accessible distance from our estate.
  • You aim to work in the Health and Social Care sector, preferably with a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults), though relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
  • You are willing to take responsibility for the security of the development, the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and overseeing Care and Support teams.
  • You can coordinate activities to foster community spirit within the development.
  • You are eager to grow your skills, lead by example, and think proactively.
  • You want to make a positive difference in the lives of older people.
