Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group’s Rosebery Manor Care Home in Epsom is seeking a Care Supervisor to lead a small Care Services team, ensuring high standards of person-centred care and resident safety.

You will monitor daily progress, support families, handle concerns with empathy, and ensure policies are followed. The role requires NVQ3 and a Medication administration qualification, plus prior senior care experience and proven leadership.

  • Dealing with concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives promptly and politely.
  • Providing ongoing support for residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

Job description

Your focus as Care Supervisor will be to manage, support and guide a small team within the Care Services team ensuring Avery processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards and ensuring that our resident's choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activity. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting and delivering high quality person-centred care to our residents.
  • Closely monitoring and reporting on residents' daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded.
  • Dealing with any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt and appropriate manner as soon as they occur.
  • Providing ongoing support for the residents, their families and the Care Services Team., Please note this role will require:
  • A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
