About you
  • You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
  • You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
  • Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
  • Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
  • Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.

BRAND NEW DEVELOPMENT OPENING

McCarthy Stone are recruiting for experienced Care Supervisors to join our team at our brand new Retirement Living Plus development, Twelve Acres Place in Chichester, West Sussex. Set to open later this year, Twelve Acres Place consists of 62 apartments with the over 70's in mind who may, or may not need care.

Hourly rate: £15.00 per hour day rate and £12.24 sleeping night rate per hour. Receive an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.

Hours: 33.5 per week (A mix of day shifts and sleeping night shifts)

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30. Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am. Our Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00 and 07:00 providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.
