Main duties of the job

As a Care Supervisor, your focus will be to manage, support, and guide a small team within the Care Services team, ensuring Avery's processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards and that the residents' choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activity. Other responsibilities will include promoting and delivering high-quality person-centered care, closely monitoring and reporting on residents' daily progress, dealing with concerns or complaints in a polite and prompt manner, and providing ongoing support for the residents, their families, and the Care Services Team.

  • Dealing with any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt and appropriate manner as soon as they occur.
  • Providing ongoing support for the residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

Qualifications
  • To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, a recognized Medication administration qualification and experience, and previous experience in a Senior Care role. You must also demonstrate the ability to organize, lead, inspire, and influence a team.
