Boots UK is seeking a Care Services Partner to act as the single point of contact for care home customers and to lead the operational running of the care services pharmacy onsite. You will collaborate with approximately 40 care homes, store teams, and GP surgeries to deliver outstanding care and retain existing clients while driving new business.

You report to the store manager. The role involves dispensing duties, customer service excellence, and working across the pharmacy.

• Assist with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
• Work with Regional Business Manager to be an ambassador for Boots in the community and assist in sign-up of new business.
• Work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter.

About The Role

Your Priorities Will Include

• Planning the Care Services workload to ensure that your team provides the very best service possible.
• You will work in partnership with a local network of around 40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to deliver outstanding care to enable retention of existing homes and growth of new customers.
• You will resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
• Supporting with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
• Working with the Regional Business Manager to become an ambassador for Boots within the local community and assist in the sign-up of new business.

What You’ll Need To Have

These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.

• NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
• Experience with problem solving in a healthcare environment with a focus on getting it right for your customers.

It would be great if you also have

These are desirable skills or experience and are not essential, so we would welcome applications from candidates that don’t match this additional criteria.

• NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
• A full driving licence as you’ll visit the Care Homes you’re supporting.
