Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Care Services Partner to act as the single point of contact for care home customers and lead the pharmacy's operational running on site. You will work with local stakeholders to deliver outstanding service to care home users and report to the store manager.

Key duties include planning workload, resolving care home queries, assisting dispensing tasks, and promoting Boots within the community while supporting new business growth.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent is essential.
• Experience solving problems in a healthcare setting with customer focus.

About the role

As a Care Services Partner, your job is to provide a single point of contact for care home customers ensuring excellent customer care is always provided whilst leading the operational running of the care services pharmacy. You will work in partnership with local stakeholders to enable delivery of this outstanding level of service to care services users. You will work onsite and report to the store manager.

Your priorities will include:

• Planning the Care Services workload to ensure that your team provides the very best service possible.
• You will work in partnership with a local network of around 40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to deliver outstanding care to enable retention of existing homes and growth of new customers.
• You will resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
• Supporting with dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
• Working with the Regional Business Manager to become an ambassador for Boots within the local community and assist in the sign-up of new business.
• You will work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter

What you’ll need to have

These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.

• NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
• Experience with problem solving in a healthcare environment with a focus on getting it right for your customers.

• NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
• A full driving licence as you’ll visit the Care Homes you’re supporting.
