Job Opportunity: Scheduler
We are currently recruiting for a Scheduler to join our team, responsible for coordinating scheduling services for clients and providing high-quality service in the East Cheshire region.
This is a full-time position based at our CQC Outstanding Chelford office near Macclesfield/Alderley Edge. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with additional out-of-hours duties on a rotational on-call basis.
We offer a salary of £28,000. Additionally, on-call duties are compensated at £350 per week for a full week, and you will be eligible for a monthly bonus scheme.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and develop effective and efficient schedules tailored to our clients and Care Professionals.
- Prepare schedules considering travel time, holidays, training, cancellations, and templates.
- Respond promptly to schedule changes and coordinate with relevant team members.
- Match Care Professionals to new clients in collaboration with the Client Service Manager and Quality Team, including arranging introductions.
- Ensure client schedules align with their needs, maintaining consistency with the same Care Professional and times each week when possible.
- Maintain continuity of Care Professional visits to foster small, consistent teams.
- Build strong relationships with clients and Care Professionals to ensure positive experiences.
- Collaborate with the Care Team to resource and schedule new and existing care packages efficiently.
- Work closely with the Client Services Manager, Quality Team, and Registered Care Manager to evaluate new client service inquiries and communicate reasons if services cannot be accommodated.
- Maintain all client and Care Professional data in the electronic scheduling system.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in scheduling roles within home care or similar fields like logistics.
- Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and CRM software; ability to learn new technologies.
- Must be a driver with own vehicle access.
- Resilient, positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Team-oriented with interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Logical, analytical, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
