Job summary

Home Instead is seeking Care Assistants in the Harrogate area. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.52 to £14.52, with guaranteed hours and fixed patterns to help you plan your days.

You’ll receive 24/7 support, fully paid training, and travel-related benefits including paid travel time and fuel allowance. Applicants must have a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social support to clients.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Assist with mobility and home safety.
• Monitor and oversee medications as required.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Run errands and accompany clients on outings.

Being a Care Professional means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first.

Your role may include:

• Companionship


• Helping with personal care


• Helping with mobility around the home


• Overseeing medication and providing medical support


• Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming


• Preparing and cooking meals


• Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions

Due to the various locations of our clients all Care Professionals MUST have a Valid UK Driving Licence with access to a car or motorbike and have the Right to work in the UK.
