Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-time Care Professional to join our team in Knutsford and the surrounding areas. As a care professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

  • Provide personalised care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care and implement care plans effectively
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and engaging in social activities when possible
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or unexpected situations
  • Access to your own motor vehicle, motorbike, bike.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • Empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence to provide compassionate care
  • Basic medical knowledge and understanding of common health conditions affecting elderly or vulnerable individuals
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Previous experience in care work is preferred
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Understanding of care regulations and best practices in the UK
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Clean driving licence and access to own vehicle may be beneficial for travelling between clients in Knutsford and surrounding areas
